Garlic Roasted Broccoli

This comes together so quickly with just 5 minutes of prep. The perfect, easiest side dish to pair with almost any meal.

Ingredients

  • 24 oz broccoli florets*

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan (optional)

  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

Equipment

  • Baking sheet

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly oil a baking sheet or coat with nonstick spray.

  2. Arrange broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

  3. Add olive oil and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Gently toss to coat evenly.

  4. Roast for 10–12 minutes, or until broccoli is tender with lightly crisped edges.

  5. Finish & serve: Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with Parmesan (if using) and drizzle with fresh lemon juice. Serve warm.

Notes

  • 24 oz broccoli florets = about 5 cups

  • Vegan option: Skip Parmesan or substitute with nutritional yeast for a savory finish
